honestly i really really prefer normal paper made books just because the feeling of it, i love the sensation of holding the pages in your hand and the whole experience, which is not the same when reading on a screen, but still i can see the benefits of electronic readers-

Let's face it, actual books are great. They've been around hundreds of years and do their job great.However, I have purchased a Kindle. I did it so I don't have to go to the library or book stores any longer. I also bought it so I don't have to figure out what to do with the books after I've read them, which has always been a problem for me as they pile up. And I can keep my books essentially forever without them piling up.
Another thing I like is the ability to adjust the font size. As I've aged, I've started wearing reading glasses, but occassionally I get a paperback book with such tiny print it's still a struggle. I've set the Kindle so it displays a font I'm comfortable with it.
Lastly, an eBook saves trees from being slaughtered. Imagine if we all used eBooks, hundreds of thousands of trees would be spared every year.
