Cleck here for Kindle EBook Reader Deals

I love to read and was looking for an e-reader that was small and light
with an easy to read screen. I wanted something portable and
comfortable to hold in one hand for long reading sessions at the beach,
at night, or in my favorite chair. Most of all I wanted a great deal. I
found it, the all new Kindle, and can help you find awesome Kindle
reader deals.

Why the new Kindle Wireless Reading Device?

The all new Kindle is "smaller, lighter, and faster with 50% better
contrast." The reviews are in and they are good! PC World says "Its
solid build quality, along with its improved design, integrated store,
and cross-platform transportability... all add up to a winner that
shoots to the head of the pack." PC Magazine writes "Simply put, it's
the best dedicated eBook reader you can buy." The all new Kindle is
smaller with a sleek new design and can hold over 3.500 books. The body
is 21% smaller but has the same 6" size reading area. The new Kindle is
17% lighter weighing only 8.5 ounces. It's really cool because it
weighs less than a paperback and is thinner than a magazine. The Kindle
has 20% faster page turns and you can get books in 60 seconds with
fast, free wireless delivery. The battery life is excellent, a single
charge can last up to one month. Lastly, the Kindle has 50% improved
screen contrast thanks to a new high-contrast e-ink screen.

Comparing the Kindle to other eBook readers you will see some points
coming up over and over again.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. QUESTION:
Does anyone have a Review of the Kindle DX?
Not really sure if I want to buy it yet, has anyone tried it out/have a review?

    • ANSWER:
I owned the Kindle 2 and Kindle DX has all the benefits of the Kindle 2. I do think the Kindle DX is even better than the Kindle 2, so let me give you some of my opinions. I've to say I love my Kindle 2! I think I've read over 20 books with my Kindle, no glitches so far!

I love my Kindle because it has helped me improve a lot on my efficiency and utilize my time. Before I owned the Kindle, waiting time like when I'm waiting for friends or waiting for shuttle bus or some thing like that is simply wasted. Now I just need to bring the Kindle along with me. Another thing I like the most is the text-to-speech function, which means I can "read" books without even holding or looking at the Kindle. Now I like to use this function when I've myself busy on some boring things, say when I'm on the step machine or doing some housework...

I like reading and at the beginning I missed a bit on the feeling of reading books. But now I love to hold the Kindle, the e-ink seems to work very well, it is really like reading books... Now I often read with the Kindle for several hours but I don't feel tired...

For books, books for the Kindle are cheaper than that of actual books. Amazon also provides quite a lot of free or very cheap books:

I'll recommend you to read this review on Kindle DX too:

      Hope this helps your decision.

  2. QUESTION:
    Kindle review and info?
I'm hoping to get a kindle for Christmas this year and I was just wondering overall how good it is? on average how much do the books cost? how is the charge? and I'm planning on getting the 0 something kindle and I was wondering if you can just buy the books immediately from the kindle device, or if you plug it into the computer? any information will help :) thank you!

  3. QUESTION:
Anyone who has the Kindle and still prefers ordinary books? Kindle owners please review your experience!?
Is there anyone out there who has the Kindle, or has used it often and still prefers ordinary books? And for the rest of you all, can you please write a review with your Kindle's performance? And are Kindle's very breakable? How are they for teens? Thanks for all feedback in advance :)

    • ANSWER:
@ Cherry Bomb, though I'm a book lover, I get to disagree with you. The new Kindle can last for one month on a single charge, while many mobile phone (like iPhone) can last no more than one day. Is it really likely to get the Kindle out of battery?

And even though I love actual books, I've to accept the fact that ebook will become more and more popular because it is so much convenient, eco-friendly, and we can get dictionary, annotations, highlights, read aloud to us, all with a device without bringing another dictionary or pen or audio book. We can put thousands of favorite books in one, instead of bringing tiles of heavy books. It's a trend, we need to accept and live with it, otherwise even ourselves with get sunk in the wave and get lost in the society.

I miss the past time when I write and send letter with paper, but now I accept and enjoy the convenience brought to me by email. I miss the days I listen to music from cassette, but now I accept to listen music in MP3. Does cassette company closed down? Yes if they do not do other things in demand to catch up the trend. So newspapers, magazines, even though people read things from internet, many news still come from newspapers' website and if they are smart enough and do well, they can earn even more money from web advertisement on their website (you know this is the major income source of facebook). That's the future trend, don't pull people stay with you, everyone get to move :D

Here is another book die-hard lover, you can see how she says about the Kindle:

      http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Freview%2FR9J54TZ1541OR%3Fie%3DUTF8%26ref%255F%3Dcm%255Fcr%255Frdp%255Fperm&tag=more_info-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=390957

Ok, enough for these. So I love my Kindle very much. If you're thinking about getting the Kindle, I'll say get it instead of other ebook readers and you won't regret. Right now I've read over 50 books with the Kindle, and I really like the idea that I can bring and store all the books with the handy device. Besides, it uses the e-ink technology, it is really clear like reading books; and even I read with the device for long hours, I don't feel tired. The internet browsing comes handy as well when I want to look for information on some specific area. My only complaint is the white case, the Kindle is only sold in white at the time when I got it, but now the new Kindle has graphite case which looks much better ;)

And there are some websites, where you can find more than a million of free books for the Kindle, so that's why you no longer need to get to library, you can actually own these books:

      http://www.amazon.com/gp/b/?node=2245146011&tag=more_info-20

If you need to read PDF with charts and graphics, you may want to go for the larger Kindle DX (both the new Kindle and the new Kindle DX are now at a cheaper price and with better contrast). Read this review and you should be able to decide which one to get:

      http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Freview%2FR23V08M2LNB81I%3Fie%3DUTF8%26ASIN%3DB0015TCML0%26nodeID%3D%26ref%255F%3Dcm%255Fcr%255Fpr%255Fcmt&tag=more_info-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=390957

      Hope this helps.

  4. QUESTION:
I need a review on the Amazon Kindle about its Web Browsing?
Is the web browsing free? Is it any good? Give me your opinions please. Can I go to google, Facebook, and gmail? Are the images any good?

    • ANSWER:
I own the Kindle 2. Yes, the web browsing is completely free. The web browser in the Kindle is a basic one, it can handle text-based website like Google and Wikipedia well, but don't expect to use it with Facebook. For text information lookup it works very well. There is no problem for gmail too, and I will send email through my Kindle device sometimes.

Images are displayed in greyscale, it is quite good as well in my opinion. As least I can recognize what the images are.

I remember I read these reviews about the benefits of the Kindle when I decided to buy my Kindle. They mentions something about internet browsing too, as far as I remember.

  5. QUESTION:
Does anyone have a Kindle? Can you please give me a review of it?
I have the chance to buy a Kindle. I love to read and think I would like it. Anyone have an opinion on them?

    • ANSWER:
yes! It's awesome! I highly recommend it, but its EXPENSIVE! Bought mine on Amazon.com, and last I heard they were sold out of them because Oprah mentioned them on her show. You might have to wait until after Christmas to get one. Good luck!
